About Robert: Feeling stuck in your relationship or overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or difficult life transitions? You don’t have to navigate it alone. Robert Niehoff is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Minnesota who works with couples and individuals seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful change.

Robert provides couples counseling and marriage therapy for partners who feel disconnected, caught in unhealthy cycles, or unsure how to rebuild trust and communication. He helps couples identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional connection, improve conflict resolution, and create healthier, more secure relationships that last beyond the therapy room.

In addition to relationship work, Robert supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, and emotional overwhelm. He helps clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping skills, process past experiences, and feel more grounded and confident in daily life.

Therapeutic Approach: Robert’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and direct. He believes therapy should provide both insight and practical tools — helping clients understand what’s happening while also giving them clear, actionable strategies to create real change.

He integrates evidence-based approaches such as PREPARE/ENRICH and Level II Gottman Method training, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique goals and challenges. Robert works alongside clients to support progress both inside and outside of sessions.
