About Lauren- I am a compassionate and collaborative therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood and safe. My approach to therapy is warm, non-judgmental, and grounded in the belief that relationships can be a powerful source of healing. I work with couples to better understand patterns of communication, navigate conflict, rebuild connection, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. I especially enjoy working with couples who feel stuck in recurring patterns of conflict, disconnected from one another, or uncertain about how to move forward together. I also welcome couples navigating major life transitions, grief, trauma, parenting challenges, or other circumstances that have placed strain on your relationship.
Therapeutic Approach - My clinical background includes working in high-acuity medical and trauma settings, where I have supported individuals and families through some of life's most challenging and unexpected circumstances. This experience has helped shape my ability to remain present during difficult conversations, help people navigate overwhelming emotions, and recognize how trauma and major life stressors can impact both individuals and relationships.
My goal is not to take sides or determine who is "right", but to create a space where both partners feel understood and supported. Together, we can slow down difficult patterns, build greater understanding and emotional safety, and work toward a relationship that feels more connected, respectful and fulfilling.
