About Feven: It often feels like we’re just one app or self-help guru away from “fixing” our problems—with bliss and ease seemingly at our fingertips. Yes, we have cinnamon-flavored dental floss and Instacart to deliver our groceries, but what do we do with the ache that wakes us in the middle of the night or the condemning voice that whispers, You should have gotten over this by now? Why is it so difficult to build and maintain good relationships with ourselves and others? Why do we both long for and resist meaningful connections? And what do we do with the nagging questions: Is this all there is? Does my life have meaning?
If you've wrestled with these thoughts, nothing is wrong with you. You're a human being navigating life in all its mystery, beauty, and complexity — and Feven would like to join you as a fellow traveler.
Therapeutic Approach: Feven's approach is grounded in existential philosophy and interpersonal and relational dynamics. She creates a space where clients can deeply know themselves and explore life's deeper questions — so they can live in alignment with their truest values. She works with adults navigating trauma, relationship challenges, identity, cultural transitions, depression, and anxiety, and is fluent in Amharic.
Availability: In person in Edina | Virtual appointments available statewide across Minnesota. Evening and weekend appointments available. Fluent in Amharic.
