About Colleen: Colleen is a marriage and family therapist specializing in therapy with children, teens, adults and families. In addition to providing individual therapy, Colleen enjoys supporting families in therapy as they navigate relationship dynamics, communication difficulties, and parenting challenges. Her goal is to help clients of all ages strengthen connections, increase self-awareness, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
She has provided therapy to teens, young adults, and adults experiencing a mental health crisis requiring hospitalization. Additionally, she has experience supporting children and adults experiencing acute and chronic medical illness and injury.
Therapeutic Approach: Colleen uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches with demonstrated success for reducing avoidance, improving quality of life, and addressing unhealthy or unhelpful patterns of behavior. She is collaborative with clients as they develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and explore new ways of managing long-standing challenges. Growth often comes from trying new approaches to old problems while recognizing and building upon each client’s unique strengths.
