About Alicia- Alicia is passionate about helping children and adolescents discover their strengths while navigating life's challenges with confidence. With years of experience working with neurodivergent children and teens, she understands that every child experiences the world differently. She believes therapy is most effective when children feel safe, accepted, and understood.

Alicia partners closely with parents and caregivers, recognizing that meaningful progress happens when the entire support system works together. Whether a child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, friendships, self-esteem, school stress, behavioral concerns, or navigating an autism or ADHD diagnosis, Alicia creates a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients can be themselves while learning new skills and building resilience.

Families appreciate Alicia's warm, patient, and collaborative style. She strives to help children not only manage difficult emotions but also develop confidence, strengthen relationships, improve communication, and feel more successful both at home and at school.

Therapeutic Approach - Alicia takes an integrative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, recognizing that every child and adolescent has unique strengths, needs, and experiences. She tailors treatment using evidence-based interventions that foster emotional growth, improve coping skills, strengthen executive functioning, and support healthy social and emotional development.

Her goal is to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration where children feel empowered to explore their emotions, practice new skills, and celebrate their progress. Alicia believes that therapy should be engaging, individualized, and focused on helping each child thrive and not simply reduce symptoms.
