About Stevi: One of the most common challenges we face isn't that we can't make the changes we seek — it's that we can't see how. Just as it's difficult to view our own reflection without a mirror, it can be equally hard to see ourselves clearly without another person to reflect things back. As your counselor, Stevi's role is to help bring those things into focus — not to tell you what to do or make decisions for you. You are the only one who can do that. Empowering clients to embrace themselves and explore their values is at the heart of her work. Getting to know her clients is a gift; witnessing them as they become better acquainted with themselves is an honor.
Therapeutic Approach: Stevi believes deeply in the power of individuals to create change in their own lives, and she respects the wisdom each client brings into the counseling space. As she often says in sessions, "You are the expert on you." Therapy, in her view, is a journey toward goals you set — and her role is to act as a traveling companion along the way, whether through reflection, empathy, or offering tools that might help. She uses a client-centered approach drawing on narrative, humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and internal family systems frameworks, all grounded in self-compassion. She works primarily with adults in both individual and group settings, with extensive experience in occupational and academic burnout — particularly among clinicians and graduate students — and a personal passion for working with late-diagnosed adult ADHD.
