About Kristina: Kristina believes that healing happens in relationships and that every person has the capacity for growth, connection, and renewal. She approaches each client with deep care, curiosity, and respect for their unique life experiences. As a therapist specializing in grief, loss, and trauma, she offers compassionate and evidence-informed care for children, adults, and families — supporting clients in finding hope and building resilience through life changes and challenging circumstances. With decades of experience in both clinical and school settings, her goal is to offer a warm, steady presence and a space where healing can take root.
Therapeutic Approach: Kristina is a trained End of Life Doula, a Certified Sound Healer, and brings years of experience with trauma-responsive therapeutic strategies. In her work as a professor of counseling, she has provided support, training, and consultation to schools, clinical agencies, and community organizations on best practices for trauma-responsive care. She uses compassionate reflection and developmentally appropriate activities to help clients navigate their grief journey at their own pace and on their own terms. Everyone who experiences loss walks a unique path — there is no script or timeline, and Kristina honors that fully.
