About Katie: Katie is glad you're considering therapy — a brave first step in itself. She enjoys working with adult and emerging adult populations, with a particular affinity for college and grad students navigating the uncertainty of early adulthood. She believes a large part of healing happens in relationship with others, and she is committed to building a collaborative partnership where clients can create a path toward a more fulfilling life.

Therapeutic Approach: Katie strives to create a therapy space that is non-judgmental, culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and sex positive. She uses a person-centered, interpersonal, and psychodynamic approach while remaining adaptive to each client's unique needs. She finds it important to examine the impact that relationships, past experiences, and societal expectations have had on us — so clients are better able to work through present day concerns. She draws from multiple approaches to help clients gain insight, see their strengths, build skills, and hopefully laugh a bit along the way. She has also been trained in Brainspotting through Phase I.
