About Ashley: Navigating life transitions, relationships, identity, and feelings of loneliness, guilt, or shame can feel overwhelming — especially when layered with complex family dynamics, adoption experiences, or cultural stressors. Ashley specializes in working with foster and adoptive families including transracial adoptions, as well as individuals, teens, young adults, couples, and members of the BIPOC community seeking support for trauma, identity development, self-worth, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Whether you're exploring adoption, healing from foster care experiences, or simply feeling lost and unsure where to turn, you don't have to navigate this alone.
Therapeutic Approach: Ashley brings a culturally affirming, trauma-informed, and intersectional approach to therapy, integrating systems, narrative, and experiential modalities. As a systems thinker, she uses a transgenerational lens to understand how family patterns, cultural influences, and lived experiences shape who you are today. As a transracial adoptee from South Korea with over a decade of experience supporting adoptees, foster youth, and families, she brings both professional expertise and lived understanding to her work. She is deeply committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, validated, and understood at the intersection of culture, identity, and mental health.
